Iodopropynyl butylcarbamate (IPBC) is a highly effective, broad-spectrum preservative with excellent inhibition of molds and yeasts. It is commonly blended with other preservatives like phenoxyethanol and parabens to achieve synergistic effects and reduce total usage levels. Widely used in personal care products such as lotions, creams, shampoos, and body washes. Stable within a pH range of 4-8; recommended usage level: 0.01-0.05%.
